Welcome to the IEEE SPS Seasonal School on Explainable AI and its Applications to Biometric Signal Processing! This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of advanced AI techniques and the analysis of biometric data. Through expert-led discussions and interactions, the participants will gain valuable insights into how explainable AI can enhance the transparency and trustworthiness of biometric signal processing, paving the way for more accurate, interpretable, and ethical AI-driven solutions in fields like healthcare, security, and personal identification. This seasonal school aims to give the participants hands-on experience, right from the foundations, from some of the leading experts in the fields in the areas of Explainable AI (XAI), Biometric Signal Processing, advances in deep architectures and applications using different modality of data.

The Summer Training program (June 23 – July 20, 2025) on Artificial Intelligence & Robotics will provide a comprehensive understanding of four key areas in AI – Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Robotics. Participants will learn how to design, develop, and deploy AI-based solutions for real-world challenges. In addition to the core training, the program includes a Project Assistance Phase (July 21 – August 4, 2025), delivered online, focusing on Machine Learning and Robotics. This post-training component will help participants apply their newly acquired knowledge to solve a real-world ML problem, under expert mentorship.

This workshop aims to offer a comprehensive introduction to deep learning techniques and their applications in medical image analysis. Through this workshop, participants will gain a foundational understanding of how deep learning methods can be leveraged to analyze medical images, improving diagnostic accuracy and advancing research in the healthcare sector. The workshop sessions will cover essential concepts, tools and practical insights, enabling faculty to explore the potential of deep learning in their own academic and research pursuits.

The rapid advancement in VLSI technology and system integration have made possible to design chips with more than a billion transistors. A specialized one-month summer training program from 16 th  June to 13 rd July 2024 has been scheduled at IIIT-A. The 10 th edition of  STPVD 2025 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Circuit and System Society, Chapter UP Section. This training program will cover analog and digital integrated circuit design using commercial technology kits and simulation tools and exposure to fabrication methods and PCB design. The experts from Industry and academia shall be training the registered applicants.

The Department of Applied Sciences, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) is going to organize a Course on Exponential Separation and Lq Dimension, April 23, 2025. This workshop will consist of lectures from experts, followed by tutorials and contributory sessions. We also emphasize that a variety of topics related to Exponential Separation and Lq Dimension will be covered in this program.
