Workshop on Advancement in Blockchain Technology Jointly organized by C3I Center, IIT Kanpur & NSC Lab, IIIT Allahabad Along with National Blockchain Project

The main aim of this seminar cum workshop aim is to provide an exposure of emerging research communication technologies, IoT networks, machine learning and related fields among the M.Tech/ Ph.D. students

Shri Anurag Jain, Secretary, DPIIT, launched the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) as a part of the government's initiative "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav "on December 8, 2021. The ambitious pan-India project aims toeducate 1 million pupils on intellectual property and its rights. Its aim is to inculcate in college/university students a spirit of innovation and creativity so that they can develop and preserve their creations.

The Department of Applied Sciences, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) is going to organize an online workshop on the Geometry of Banach Spaces and its Applications during December 31, 2021 - January 02, 2022. The aim of this workshop is to motivate and expose the M.Sc./M.Tech./PhD students, and researchers from different areas of science and engineering to the area of Geometry of Banach Spaces and its Applications. It also aims to provide a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring the possibility of future collaboration for researchers working in different areas of Geometry of Banach Spaces and its applications.

The Short term programme is focused around basics and contemporary developments in the Analytics domain with Analytics case studies and it unfolds the concepts, techniques and the best practices related to Data Analytics (DA). The objective is to train the participants how to apply these DA concepts, tools and techniques using case study methods and self-service Data analytics and visualization Software. Participants will have enough hands-on experience.This programme is designed to make the participants aware how to get business insights by analyzing the Data / Information available in various pockets in the organization. Participants will also learn how to collate Data, convert them to Information and then get Business Insight using prudent Practices, Tools, Techniques and interactive visualizations with Business Process Mining and Business Analytics approaches. While including This short term programme will help the participants understand these latest trends and their impact on the Financial services industry and get future ready.

The 9th International Conference on Big Data Analytics (BDA 2021) will be held online during December 15-18, 2021. The conference will be organized by Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, India. BDA 2021 provides an international forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their original research results, practical experiences and thoughts on big data from different perspectives including storage models, data access, computing paradigms, analytics, information sharing and privacy, redesigning mining algorithms, open issues and future research trends.

The physical world is gradually changing as Cyber world to achieve quick and cost saving communication and actions. The global Covid’19 pandemic has brought a huge rise in Cyber connectivity such as work from home, shopping online, virtual classroom, etc. Although the Cyber/digital communication is an efficient mode, there are drawbacks and the significant one is the Cyber Attack. This is a major threat not only to the individual and organization. A Cyber security firm has reported that 400 percent increase in at- tempted hacks since February 2020.
